bluebike helmet
Voltronic, a company specialized on Information and Intelligent Technologies device, has introduced BlueBike® into the motorcyle helmet. BlueBike is a modular communication system, which individually can be adapted to everybody?s requirement.

There are a few version that are offered, the BlueBike@ Helmet-BASIC, the BlueBike® SOLO, and BlueBike® PREMIUM. The Helmet-Basic comes with a helmet self-assembly-kit, which can be installed into and onto a helmet and then you can extend the system with other components according to your demands. This version can communicate with a Bluetooth®-mobile. Two Helmet-Basic versions are able to communicate with each other and everybody (rider & pillion rider) parallely can phone with their own Bluetooth® -mobile.

The BlueBike® SOLO version is for the biker, who generally is driving alone. This small device can be used e.g. in the jacket pocket, or at the bike together with a MP3-Player (e.g. IPod) or with a tuner as well as a walkie-talkie ? so it also is possible to transmit via walkie-talkie with the help of the Push-to-Talk-button, which is in the scope of delivery. Independent of that, there remains always the possibility to phone.

The BlueBike® PREMIUM version consists of a basic control unit, which is installed firmly at the bike. Here you have the connectivity for external audio sources (e.g. tuner, MP3-player, etc.), the voice output of the navigation device, a mobile, which is not capable for Bluetooth® and for a walkie-talkie. Self-evident the driver and co-driver still have the possibility to phone ? everyone with its own Bluetooth®-mobile. A special feature for the co-driver is the possibility also to participate to walkie-talkie conversations between the different drivers ? by using a wireless Push-to-Talk Button, which can be fixed e.g. at the wrist.

By proper using the Lithium-Ionen-battery has an operation time of at least 20 hours. With 3 years warranty and software update,
you can get started (and upgrade later) right now for ?350 ($481).
