Victor Corporation Japan has launched a new series of audio player ?alneo? with direct MP3 sound recording with bit rate range from 96 to 160kbps. It’s available with 2GB built-in storage, coded Victor XA-S208, and 1GB built-in storage, coded Victor XA-S108. Both players feature a 4 line OLED display, 6.5mW×2ch output and 18bit DAC for clear sound play back. It comes with preset equalizer in 5 band equalizer that can be customized as well. The strap type neodymium magnesium ear phone improves sound quality to a great extent.

The alneo player measures 77×32×18mm weigh 37g with lithium ion battery and come in a variety of eye catching colors. The 1GB model XA-S108 will be available for approximately 15,000 Yen ($125) and 2GB XA-S208 for 19,000 Yen ($160). Both models will be available in Japan from October this year.
