Sony is planning to expand the VAIO notebook line with the new FZ2 series after its VAIO FZ series. The new laptop will be powered with the choice of Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 or T7500 processor, with 15.4-inch WXGA screen display, NVIDIA 8400 GT graphics on the higher-end, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 250GB hard drive. In the optical storage option, you have the choice of Blu-ray or DVD combo drives.

No info on the releaste date yet, while the price is expected to be $1,299 to $1,399.
