Transcend has announced a new cool looking external hard drive in StoreJet line up with 160GB storage capacity. It is a 2.5-inch hard drive that packed in a polished aluminum case. With SATA interface, the drive provides transfer rates up to 480Mbits per second. Its comes bundled with an OneTouch Auto-Backup function.

The company says this “new-generation” USB 2.0 external hard drive supports transfer rates of up to 1.5Gb/s via “point to point” data connections and saves power with its low operating voltage.

The StoreJet 2.5 SATA drive is available in three colors:

• Silver with 80GB capacity and price of $100.
• Titanium with 120GB capacity and price of $114.
• Blue with 160GB capacity, and price $132.
