TATUNG Thailand has unveiled its release of a new ultra portable PC, WebPad TX-3000. The 10.4-inch touchscreen WebPad TX-3000 is based on AMD Geode platform with 500MHz LX800 processor. It comes with 1GB compact flash card, 802.11 b/g wireless, an optical drive, 1024×768 resolution, up to 1GB RAM, and Windows XP. No word on pricing and availability.

Charlie Lan president of TATUNG Thiland said that the WebPad is being supplied to globally renowned partners including ViewSonic and it is to hit Thai market under its own Tatung brand.
