Samsung has recently released the new slider phone, Samsung U708. It has a remarkably thin at 12.1mm with a large 2.2-inch QVGA color display, takes on a slider form factor, and looks shiny (when the backlit is off the glass surface can function as a mirror). Besides its standard tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE radio, the Samsung U708 can also do the high-speed dance via HSDPA. The slide-out keypad is pretty standard, but the main call and end buttons on the face of the phone are touch-sensitive.
Other vital features include Bluetooth, USB port, a primary 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, a secondary VGA camera for video calls, full HTML browsing, picture editing, “wheel key interaction,” background music player, and “Smart Search and Smart Messaging.”
