Sharp Corporation is going to introduce two new high-speed, digital full-color multifunctional systems, the Sharp MX-7001N and Sharp MX-6201N. Both operate on a standard 100V/15A power source, which facilitates new installations of these digital multifunctional systems in existing office environments. This MX-7001N offers high productivity with fast output of 50 ppm color (A4 landscape) and 70 ppm B/W (A4 landscape), while the MX-6201N offers 62 ppm B/W (A4 landscape), paper capacity of up to 7,400 sheets, and a wealth of job finishing options such as a Saddle Stitch Finisher and Inserter. Plus, a 10.4-inch touch-screen color LCD control panel provides superb visibility and ease of operation. Enhanced Sharp Auto Color Mode automatically distinguishes from among documents of different types and sizes to select the optimum paper size and deliver high-resolution, high-quality printed output. Sharp MX-7001N and MX-6201N digital full-color multifunctional systems offer a way to flexibly meet the needs of a wide range of customers through the ECOLUTION concept advocated by Sharp, including high environmental performance by conforming to the international Energy Star Program and green purchasing laws, as well as incorporating security functions that emphasize safeguarding personal information and internal controls.
Available in Japan from September 14th, Sharp MX-7001N will cost approximately 3,475,500 yen ($30,585) and Sharp MX-6201N for 3,129,000 yen ($27,530).
