Sony also unveiled its new S-Frame series digital photo frames, the Sony DPF-V900, DPF-V700 and DPF-D70. These new models offer vibrant WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels) along with 15:9 aspect-ratio LCD screens and stylish designs suitable for living room, bedroom or office. Inside the black bezels of these thin frames is an advanced image processor that scales and displays images up to 48 megapixels, making the frames capable of handling photos taken with the most advanced digital cameras. The 7-inch DPF-V700 and 9-inch DPF-V900 digital photo frames have 512MB of internal storage, while the 7-inch DPF-D70 model has 256MB of internal flash memory. In order to maximize internal memory, the models all offer an auto-resizing option that downsizes photos so you can store hundreds within the device and then return your memory card back to the camera. The supported memory cards include Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick PRO Duo, SD Memory Card, MMC, Compact Flash, Microdrive and xD-Picture Card.
All three S-Frame models support JPEG and RAW (SRF, SR2, ARW) image file formats. The DPF-V900 and DPF-V700 frames also support TIFF and BMP file formats. These two models also feature Sony?s Bionz processor with face detection technology for faster processing speeds, as well as in-frame photo correction like focus enhancement, red-eye corrections and exposure adjustment. The three new frames offer convenient features such as 10 slide show variations, clock and calendar views, and two index modes so you can preview several photos at once. You can also conserve energy by using the auto power on/off setting to program when you want the frame to turn on in the morning and off at night. Functions of the digital photo frame can be managed remotely using the included controller.

Sony has unveiled its new BRAVIA LCD series in Europe, the Sony BRAVIA B4000 LCD screen. The design has been focused on transportability, style and practicality, which were built using the Sony 3P (Product, Process, Planet). It features a couple HDMI, a built in tuner and HD Reday technology. It is available with Pearl White and Glossy Mocha in 20, 23, and 32-inch.

The notebook is designed with a textured chassis, slim with rounded corners and beveled edges, which is comfortable to carrying around. It features a 15.4-inch widescreen display with XBRITE-ECO? LCD technology, with range of Intel® Core?2 Duo processor, longer battery life, built-in 802.11 a/b/g wireless LAN, DVD burner, a multitude of connectivity options including four USB ports and ExpressCard®, SD card and Memory Stick PROTM slots. The units come pre-installed with Microsoft® Windows Vista® Home Premium.

It comes with 15.4-inch X-Black LCD with WXGA 1280×800 resolution. Also features 2GB of RAM, a 120GB / 160GB hard drive, Intel GMA X3100 graphics with 358MB, dual layer DVD burner, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 a/b/g wireless, Bluetooth, 1.3 mega pixel webcam, and a range of ports such as 3 USB 2.0, VGA, Firewire, ExpressCard and a card reader.

Sony has launched two new Walkman video players NWZ-A810 and NWZ-S610 series for the first time in U.S. The new Sony NWZ-A810 and NWZ-S610 series of Walkman digital music players will support an open platform, providing more choices for downloading and managing music and video collections online. The NWZ-A810 series have a 2-inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) LCD screen and comes with higher quality Sony ear-buds also. Designed with a younger demographic in mind, the Sony NWZ-S610 series has a 1.8-inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) LCD screen and includes an FM tuner with 30 presets that make it convenient to listen to the radio on the go. Both players support security-enhanced Windows Media Audio (WMA), AAC and MP3 music formats, JPEG files for photos, the AVC (H.264/AVC) Baseline Profile and MPEG-4 video codecs. The battery life allows up to eight hours of video playback for the NWZ-A810 series and nine-and-a-half hours for the NWZ-S610 series. The battery also provides up to 33 hours of music playback for both series.

Sony has introduced the new walkman player series, Sony NWD-103F featuring 1GB and Sony NWD-105F featuring 2GB. These walkman comes with Direct USB connection feature with easy Drag and Drop to transfer music files without requiring dedicated applications. There is automatic transfer feature by using Auto Transfer software. FM Tuner, FM broadcast recording and voice recording features are also provided. The screen is a 3-line color LCD display, and use the equalizer feature to set the audio quality at preference. Support multi-codec MP3/WMA format with up to 12 hours of continuous playback.

Sony Japan has introduced 3 new Bravia product line in HDTV. It’s powered by the BRAVIA ENGINE PRO, the x.v Color and comes in 40, 46 or 52 inches, available in PAL, SECAM and NTSC. With Full-HD panel displays HD images as they’re meant to be seen, in faithfully reproduced high-definition video. The new BRAVIA ENGINE PRO rendering engine fully digitalizes the image quality enhancement process with its high precision processing, while the x.v Color delivers a broader color gamut that ever before. Improvement of 20% compared to previous models in color-reproduction range, generating purer red, green, and blue, also high color gamut backlight system by incorporating Live Color Creation technology.

Sony has launched 8 new LCD video projectors, only one of them uses a WXGA resolution with 3.000 lumens, the rest are equipped with a XGA and feature from 2.700 to 3.500 lumens.
Technically speaking, Sony claims that their new lamp’s performance has been increased (+11%) and that the ACF (Advanced Crisp Focus) means an image 30% cleaner than before.
Last but not least, all those projectors can be linked to a network and shared between several computers.
