Sony has launched the latest VoicePLUS digital recorder, the Sony VoicePLUS ICD-UX. It comes with 3-in-1 which features a voice recorder, a MP3 digital music player and USB data storage, which perfect for both work and play. This slimmer and more compact ICD-UX series digital recorder is available in glossy red, black, silver and pink to complement the modern lifestyle of today?s technology products such as the colourful range of VAIO® CR series. Measuring only 3.44 cm in width, this voice recorder slips easily into pockets, making it easy to carry along. The VoicePLUS ICD-UX series will be available in 2GB, 1GB and 512MB of memory capacity, and comes with a pair of quality stereo headphones.

With its built-in stereo microphone and 5 recording modes to choose from, users can ensure maximum quality output from each recording. The ICD-UX series is also equipped with Digital Pitch Control and Voice Operated Recording. Each session of a recorded conversation is saved as a MP3 file that allows easy sharing via email or playback on the Windows® media player.
• MP3 Playback. It has the built-in MP3 player with storage capacity of up to 545 MP3 songs and playback time up to 36 hours and 20 minutes . While playing back music, the ID3 tag-supported ICD-UX series can display the song title and artist name. With folders organised based on voice and music files, users can easily manage and search for the respective recorded voice files and favourite MP3 songs.
• Data Storage. Beside as a voice recorder, the ICD-UX also serves as a USB media drive for storage up to 2GB of documents and data with easy drag-and-drop transfer function for both Windows and MAC-operated PC. During this process, the recorder charges up at the same time.

With the previous released on Sony Walkman NWZ-S615F and Sony Walkman NWZ-A810 and NWZ-S610, Sony Japan has again announced two versions of this product with the Sony Walkman NWZ-S700F and Sony Walkman NWZ-S600. Both comes with 1.8-inch QVGA screen, FM Radio, audio playback form AAC, MP3 and WMA format, video playback for MPEG4, H.264 format. The NWZ-S700F features Noise Cancellation which is not available in NWZ-S600 series.

Sony has officially announced its new unique player, Rolly coded SEP-10BT Sound Entertainment Player. The Rolly is a MP3 player with an integrated speaker that can move, the user interacts with it by moving the two wheels either directly, or by rolling the Rolly. It supports MP3, ATRAC, or AAC tunes via either Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP / AVRCP or its 1GB of internal memory. It’s probably a hybrid dance-bot combined with an entertainment system beaming out music for your listening pleasure. Rolly not only dances to music but can also choreograph it, allowing you to share your Rolly moves with friends via the net. On a full charge it plays five hours straight music, four hours of dance and music, or three and a half hours dancing, music, and Bluetooth use together.

Sony has launched two new Walkman video players NWZ-A810 and NWZ-S610 series for the first time in U.S. The new Sony NWZ-A810 and NWZ-S610 series of Walkman digital music players will support an open platform, providing more choices for downloading and managing music and video collections online. The NWZ-A810 series have a 2-inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) LCD screen and comes with higher quality Sony ear-buds also. Designed with a younger demographic in mind, the Sony NWZ-S610 series has a 1.8-inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) LCD screen and includes an FM tuner with 30 presets that make it convenient to listen to the radio on the go. Both players support security-enhanced Windows Media Audio (WMA), AAC and MP3 music formats, JPEG files for photos, the AVC (H.264/AVC) Baseline Profile and MPEG-4 video codecs. The battery life allows up to eight hours of video playback for the NWZ-A810 series and nine-and-a-half hours for the NWZ-S610 series. The battery also provides up to 33 hours of music playback for both series.

Sony has introduced the new walkman player series, Sony NWD-103F featuring 1GB and Sony NWD-105F featuring 2GB. These walkman comes with Direct USB connection feature with easy Drag and Drop to transfer music files without requiring dedicated applications.
