Lenovo IdeaPad U8 Mobile Internet Device
Lenovo has made an official debut at the Beijing Olympic on its new Mobile Internet Device (MID), the Lenovo IdeaPad U8. Authorized by the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee, it comes in all black and silver finishes, sports a 4.8-inch touchscreen with weight of 10.6-ounce, features an 800MHz Intel Atom Z500 processor, 1GB of RAM (up to 2GB supported), 6GB SSD, dual cameras, 5-hour battery life, and support for mobile TV. The CMMB (China Multimedia Mobile Broadcasting) USB dongle shown above is being used to provide users with free, live coverage of the Olympic games and can receive other broadcast signals as well.

luxury phone Vertu
For luxury phone geek, Nokia is said to be working on a W-CDMA Vertu for Japan network. The company has just engaged a sales agent in Japan, and plan to make the luxury phone available in year 2008. Vertu Ltd is the pioneer and manufacturer of luxury mobile phones, it is an independently run fully owned subsidiary of the phone manufacturer Nokia.
