Satmap Systems Ltd is going to released a new handhed GPS device in UK called Satmap. The device can read digital maps on an SD card, and the on board software gives you the ability to zoom and pan seamlessly similar to Google Maps. Satmap features a 3.5-inch hi-resolution color screen as well as an extended battery life, work fine in all weather conditions and all light conditions, which is good to bring together anytime anywhere.

A lot of others specs are still not revealed such as the GPS receiver chip, processor, etc. Satmap GPS device will come with basemaps of the UK from OS (Ordinance Survey) available in August 2007 and will cost about £300.
