Both are the first of AMD series that support PCIe 2.0 technology and based on 55nm process technology allows to provide full performance with lower power consumption. Palit HD 3850 and HD 3870 both support the latest DirectX 10.1 shader model 4.1 technology which delivers improved HDR lighting and anti-aliasing and also frees the restrictions on AA support, provide better visual experience.
