Nvidia has announced a series of lower level version of FX family for professionals in the CAD/CAM, DCC, medical imaging, digital video and financial sectors, they are entry level 3D Quadro FX 370 with 256MB memory, Professional 2D Quadro NVS 290 with 256MB memory and Quadro FX 570 with 256MB memory, and mid-range 3D Quadro FX 1700 with 512MB memory. All of them are Shader Model 4.0 compliant and comes with increased frame buffer capacity needed to make them fully Microsoft Vista ready, and support for NVIDIA CUDA GPU-computing software architecture which extends the functionality of the GPU to address a wide range of mathematically intensive problems.
All of them are designed to suit your budget while simultaneously enabling you to perform graphics intensive tasks. It could be a good buy through price/performance dynamics. The Quadro FX 370 ($129), Quadro NVS 290 ($149), Quadro FX 570 ($199), and Quadro FX 1700 ($699) are now available.
