NEC has released the new series of notebook that available in 6 colors of choice, NEC LaVie notebook.. This 15.4-inch WXGA display is powered by an AMD Turion 64×2 @ 1.6GHz (TL-52), featured AMD M690-V using the EX2 Liquid Crystal technology, 1280×800 pixels resolution, 120GB HDD, DVD Double-Layer burner, 1GB of DDR2 RAM (up to 4GB). It also comes with slots for ExpressCards and FeliCa cards, in addition to the usual array of memory cards.

Expected to be available in Japan by August 2007 for between ¥160,000 and ¥175,000 (about $1,400 to $1,530)
