MSI introduced the successor of its PR200 ultraportable notebook, the MSI PR201. It measures 303 x 231.5 x 16-29.5 mm with 1.8kg (including battery) with ultra lightweight design with Magnesium Alloy Casing in Black and Silver color theme. The PR201 is powered by Intel Core2 Duo processor and Intel GM45 Express Chipset, to deliver innovative mobile solutions with unrivaled processor performance, stunning new HD capabilities, great wireless connectivity, and long battery life. It also features Fingerprint Reader for Data Security, HDMI for best video quality, and built-in 2.0 megapixel webcam.


The MSI PR201 runs on the Windows Vista Business operating system with a friendly user interface displayed on the 12.1-inch TFT screen at a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Graphics are taken care by the GMA X4500 controller with shared video memory. There is memory support for up to 4GB and the notebook also features 2 built-in speakers, modem, LAN, Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR, 802.11 b/g/n wireless module, a 3-in-1 card reader, 3 USBs, PCI Express Card, up to 320GB S-ATA HDD storage, and a DVD Super Multi optical drive to burn your media on CDs and DVDs.
