
Lenovo just rolled out two new Olympic Games-inspired PCs to its Lenovo 3000 desktop line, the newly designed silver and black Lenovo 3000 J200 and J205 tower desktops. Both are the first Lenovo PCs to be distributed worldwide displaying the Lenovo Olympic Games composite logo, which features the brand name and the Olympic Rings, in support of the company?s worldwide sponsorship of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Lenovo 3000 J200 desktops are powered with Intel-based processors while the Lenovo 3000 J205 desktops are AMD-based processors. The desktops also include Gigabit Ethernet, integrated graphics, six USB ports, a chassis intrusion lock and PC lock slot.
Additionally, the desktops feature optional 9-in-1 media bay and DVD multiburner along with TPM 1.2 data encryption on select models. The Lenovo 3000 J200 and J205 start at approximately $399 and $449, respectively. The desktops will be available in August and meet the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star 4.0.
