Intel has developed a small and lightweight SSD (solid state disk), Intel Z-P140 PATA. With the size smaller than a penny and weighs less than a drop of water, suitable for application in mobile internet devices, cellphones, and other media devices. The fast, low-powered and rugged disk is a part of the proposed Intel “Menlow” platform and comes in 2GB and 4GB capacities, extendable to 16GB.


The chip giant will showcase it’s latest development at CES 2008.
