HP Pavilion DV2809TU Artist Edition Notebook PC has been awarded in winning design at a youth party held at the posh Embassy Super Club. It is a perfect companion for students, families, and professionals with a youthful sense of style. It features 14.1-inch BrightView widescreen display powered by a discrete NVIDIA GeForce 8400 graphics card for bold and vibrant images, as well as HP QuickPlay 3.2 and a built-in HP Pavilion Webcam for more multimedia options.
“We are proud to announce that HP’s first artist edition notebook is finally in the Philippines,” said Bernadette Nacario, Country General Manager, Personal Systems Group, HP Philippines. The winning design, by João of Portugal, hints at a wide range of cultural influences ?from Chinese dragons to Japanese samurai ?with mandala-like swirls and crisp radiant line art that spread across the surface in a wave of playfully subdued colors. João’s design was chosen to be specially laser-etched and protected through HP’s exclusive inlaid molding process onto the HP Pavilion DV2809TU Artist Edition Notebook PC. Meanwhile, works by regional finalists from Europe, Asia Pacific-Japan, North America, and Latin America will be made available as custom replaceable skins for portable devices.
The winning design was selected by a panel consisting of Shaun White, snowboarding Olympic gold medal winner and one of the “achievers” featured in HP’s “The Computer is Personal Again” marketing campaign; HP designers; members of the MTV creative team; and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners advertising experts. This special edition notebook is priced at P69,950.
