As Fuji Xerox Printers celebrates its 30th year of pioneering laser printing this year, it has launched the DocuPrint C1110B and DocuPrint C1110 to meet the burgeoning demand of SOHO and SMB users who are looking for quality colour printouts in a low cost and easy to use package. With the distinct advantage of increasing differentiation and clarity to business communications, many SOHOs and SMBs are choosing colour laser printers to give greater emphasis to their printed documents. This has fuelled the widespread adoption of colour laser printers; the colour laser printer market (1-10ppm segment) is expected to grow at Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 12% from 2005 to 2011^.
“Our printing legacy started 30 years ago when Xerox invented the world’s first laser printer, the Xerox 9700. It is our rich heritage and clear understanding of our customers’ printing demands that sets us apart from our competitors,” said Jeffrey Tan, General Manager/ Director, ASEAN, Fuji Xerox Printers.
“We have seen a surge in the number of colour laser printers sold in the past three years and we expect this trend to continue for the next few years as more businesses use colour laser printers to enhance their business documents,” said Tan. “The declining prices of colour laser printers and its lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) have shifted the market from inkjets to laser printers. With the addition of both DocuPrint C1110B and DocuPrint C1110, it will significantly enhance our comprehensive range of colour laser printers being offered to our customers.”
