Some exciting upgrades from Cowon’s D2 media player is announced, as reported by GenerationMP3.
The new models, iAudio X7 and X5, will come equipped with an SDHC expansion slot for increased memory storage providing the capability to potentially store around 32GB worth of data. A 8GB version of the D2 will also be available, yet there are no currently announced prices.

Expect iAudio X7 to be released in September this year with a storage capacity of 40GB and 80GB, while iAudio X5 will be pushed back till later time.
