abit has announced their brand new Entertainment and Gaming Platform motherboards, the I-N73H Series. It is based on the nVIDIA GeForce7100/nForce 630i single chip the I-N73H series support next generation 45nm multi-core processors and Intel Core 2 Extreme/Quad/Duo processors with up to 1333 MHz FSB. With the small mATX form factor, the I-N73H Series features a maximum of 4GB memory capacity for DDR2 800 modules. The integrated GeForce 7 Series graphics comes support for DirectX 9 and Shader Model 3.0 as well as nVIDIA’s nView Technology, which enables the use of two monitors at a time. Tyan Computer has announced the launch of Intel 5100 series chipset platforms and barebone solutions supporting the next generation Intel Dual-Core and Quad-Core Xeon processors. The latest Xeon processor featuring a 45nm processor design will significantly increase the new platform’s energy efficiency and higher performance output. A broad array of 45nm processor supported Tyan platforms included the Tempest S5375 with the addition of Transport GT20 B5375 for complete barebone solutions.
