
Lenovo has released two new desktop computers in its ThinkCentre series, Lenovo ThinkCentre M57 and Lenovo ThinkCentre M57p. The M57 is a powerful machine with an option of Intel Quad Core processor while the M57p is designed for enterprise segment with the latest Intel vPro processor technology. Both of them can be customized with 3.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 Processor, up to 8GB RAM, integrated GMA3100 graphics, max 1TB hard drive, DVD burner, and Vista.
“Large corporate customers are telling us that manageability and security are essential factors when purchasing PCs for their organization,” said Dilip Bhatia, executive director, global desktop marketing, Lenovo. “The new ThinkCentre desktops provide users the latest technologies along with the solutions that IT managers need to manage and to secure a fleet of hundreds or thousands of PCs.”

As part of environmental compliance, Lenovo has unveiled A61e green PC in its ThinkCentre series. The ultra small form factor computer is Lenovo’s smallest, quietest and most energy-efficient machine with energy-efficient, 45-watt AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core / Sempron single core processor. Made up of 90% recyclable materials, the A61e boasts EPEAT Gold status and can be powered by an optional solar panel. Other features includes 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, 64MB ATI Radeon X1200, DVD burner, integrated Gigabit Ethernet, and Vista.
