Casio with 300fps digital camera
Casio Japan is going to launch next generation CMOS based digital camera which is capable to capture a burst of full-size six megapixel images at 60fps and VGA AVI movies at an astonishing 300fps. With such a high speed video recording the camera will be able to catch movements which are not visible to human eyes. Casio hopes to come out with camera within one year. Sanyo has launched the world’s smallest and lightest compact-sized Full HD recording (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution) digital movie camera, Sanyo DMX-HD1000. The new Sanyo Full HD Xacti DMX-HD1000 comes with a 2.7-inch 230,000pixels Widescreen TFT-LCD screen has also adopted the increasingly popular MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 compression format for recording video, enabling up to approximately 43 minutes of Full HD (1920 x 1080) recording onto a 4GB SDHC Memory Card. The newly developed high speed image processing engine utilizes Sanyo?s proprietary codec enabling Full HD compatibility with the H.264 format, uses approximately 4.2 watts of power, allowing the battery to be used for up to approximately 2 hours of continuous use. Samsung has introduced their very first HD Compact Camera during IFA 2007 in German, Berlin, the VP-HMX10A. The VP-HMX10A records super sharp moving images at a high-definition resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It compresses images using the highly efficient MPEG 4 standard (H.264), which was designed for recording HDTV images. A 10x optical zoom fills the screen with impressive detail even when filming from a very long distance. It has a 4 Gigabyte flash card for saving images, and for additional storage other SD cards can be used. Samsung designer has also put great importance to easy operation and clear menus. By pressing the “i-check” button, you can see the battery charge status. If power is sufficient, then using the Quick Start function one can start up immediately and be sure not to miss out on even one good picture, as the time lapse between switching on and recording is only 3 seconds. A swivelling handle ensures that users can hold this small, lightweight camera firmly and without wobbling at all times, which is crucial to recording flawless images.

Hitachi DZ-BD70 camcorder
Hitachi finally unveiled they first ever full High-Definition camera with HDD and Blu-Ray technology, the DZ-BD7H, including a 30GB HDD and a 8cm Blu-ray Disc recorder and the DZ-BD70 with Blu-ray Disc technology only. The two new camcorders is capable of recording one hour 1920×1080 Full High-Definition Video on a Blu-ray Disc (two hours of 1440×1080 high definition video). The DZ-BD7H with its 30 GB built-in hard disc can record approximately four hours of 1920×1080 full high-definition video, up to eight hours of 1440×1080 high-definition video. It can also copy the contents from HDD to 8cm BD within the camcorder so that users do not need to use any external devices.

Sony NSC-GC1 Net-sharing CAM

They have released a new pocket camcorder dubbed the Sony NSC-GC1 Net-sharing CAM. It shoots video at a low resolution so that you can easily upload it to YouTube. The video capture ranges from 15fps at 320×240 to 30fps at 640×480. The videos store on a Memory Stick DUO card, so they can be easily transferred.
