JVC Everio Series Camcorder for 2009
To stay competition level, JVC unveiled its latest Everio Camcorders which offers innovations in video sharing, dual storage memory and portability. The 2009 JVC Everio line includes the HD Everio series, the standard definition Everio G series models, and the Everio S series of memory camcorders. Emphasize on HD, the JVC HD Everio line all record 1920 x 1080 full HD video. The GZ-HD300, with 60GB hard drive, the GZ-HD320, (with 120GB hard drive), offer HDD storage for extra-long recording times, and the GZ-HM200 offers dual SD card recording, with continuous recording from one card to the next. The HD Everio is one of the smallest and lightest full HD camcorder models available.

On the other side, the JVC Everio G series models are the line’s standard definition units. Three models comprises the line: the 60GB GZ-MG630, the 80GB GZ-MG670 and the 120GB GZ-MG680. The JVC Everio S series of memory camcorders includes two models – the GZ-MS120, with dual SD card slots, and the GZ-MS130, with an SD card slot and 16GB of internal flash memory. This dual memory series offer continuous recording.

SAMSUNG MX20 camcorder
Samsung unveiled a new powerful compact digital camcorder, the Samsung MX20, which offers high video quality, longer recording times and low power consumption for SD camcorders to meet customer’s demands. It is powered by the world-renowned Schneider lens with 34x optical zoom, an advanced 2.7 inch screen LCD and Samsung’s improved Hyper Digital Image Stabilization, which compensates for the images caused by hand-shaking for sharper footage. It also features advanced face detection technology which can automatically detect up to five faces and adjust the focus and diaphragm to ensure better composition. The new model optimizes the video quality with a high-performance 680K-pixel CCD sensor.

The new MX20 is the first to apply H.264 CODEC to SD camcorders. In the “fine” mode, Samsung’s MX-20 camcorder can record up to 4 hours of footage using an 8GB memory card, 8 hours using a 16GB memory card, and up to 16 hours using a 32GB card. Users can easily import the video to iTunes and play it on iPod or other personal media players supporting H.264 without having to transcode the files. By selecting the Web & Mobile mode, the camcorder’s resolution is automatically adjusted to 640×480 (H.264 / AAC / MP4) and optimized for use on iPod or YouTube™.
