Canon U.S.A., Inc. has launched a new all-in-one imageCLASS MF4270 laser multifunction printer (MFP). Apparently, it’s aimed for SOHO professionals are looking for an affordable network-ready multifunction device. The firm’s smallest multifunction printer features in duplex which saves half the paper consumption in the home or office. It is capable of print and copy speeds of up to 21 pages-per-minute (ppm) at 1200 x 600 dpi resolution. The all-in-one captures scans in 24-bit color at an interpolated resolution of up to 9600 dpi and provides a robust fax solution.
The imageCLASS MF4270 model also incorporates the Canon Single Cartridge System, which combines the toner and drum in one easy-to-replace unit, resulting in excellent image quality retention and eliminating the complication and warehousing of separate toner and drum consumables.
The manufacturer’s suggested retail price of the imageCLASS MF4270 is $299 and it will begin shipping to retailers in September 2007.
