ASUS has announced a new server mainboard that anticipates the new generation of Intel’s Stoakley platform, the ASUS DSEB-D16 series. This board features cutting-edge technology that includes FSB 1600MHz, FB-DIMM 800MHz, PCI-Express Gen2 x16 and IOAT2, and with 90%+ power efficiency boosting. It provides 16 FB-DIMM slots (supporting up to 64GB memory), ASUS patented MemCool Kit, and two PCI-E Gen2 x16 slots (each supporting up to 8GB/s bandwidth). The DSEB-D16 is the most performance-driven server board that is ideal for enterprise-class and computing demanding applications.
