Apple iPod Touch
Apple has pushed the iPod to launch the lastest iPod touch, as presented by Steve Job at the “The beat goes on” special event. To share some trivia, Apple has already sold more than 110 million units of iPods and distributed over 600 million copies of iTunes to date. A staggering three billion songs sold through iTunes is all but a strong testament to the business model of the whole iPod ecosystem. Now the new iPod Touch comes with an extremely thin profile that measures just 8mm and with embedded Wi-Fi, Safari web browser and Apple’s multi-touch interface (similar to that in the iPhone), the new iPod touch is unlike any other iPods that came before it. Never mind that it only has 16GB of storage for music and videos, the new set of features will be eagerly welcomed by those with a dynamic mobile Internet lifestyle.

Furthermore, with Apple’s proven marketing engine hard at work, it should come as no surprise to see the iPod touch flying off the shelves when it retails officially on the 28th of September 2007.
