Fujitsu unveiled its latest portable hard drive, a 2.5″ disk drive offering up to 300GB of storage, possibly the first in the market at the time. Same as other 2.5″ portable HDD, this new drive comes with a compact design, with its own integrated USB 2.0 cable. It drives power from your laptop or desktop’s USB port, so there’s no need for an additional adapter.

The device is protected by its 16-point omnidirectional shock mount, with 4200 rpm, the 4200 rpm, 300GB portable drive is available for US $229. Expect it to hit the markets in Q3 2007.
